There's almost no better way to spend an afternoon than tearing apart a cabbage and shooting it nine ways from Sunday with a macro lens. The key here was the paper's old and underused lightbox. Oh, this was an assignment, by the way, I didn't just decide to do this for fun. But it was fun. A lot of fun.
